This paper analyzes the organization formed by the elements rule of law, democracy and capitalism. It goes through concepts brought from authors and it exemplifies different times that prevailed varied forms of balance between the elements, in order to illustrate how complex this relationship is. The analysis delves into events after the Second World War, combining matter of State law, democracy and capitalism, where the intervening State took prominently interventionist role at a time of increased economic growth. After the expansion of popular demands and economic crises, the state funding led to reforms that reduced rights.
