Abstract

This exploratory research analyzed an experience of educational practice of Proerd ina public elementary school, held in the second half of 2013. The methodological approach used in this research was the participative observation. The technical and methodological procedures developed from Proerd Student Book and analysis of its curriculum, the “Elementary”, as well as the account of experiences in daily lessons. It was observed a construction of autonomous knowledge, which would enable the students to recognize and resist the direct or indirect pressures that may influence them to experiment with drugs or even to act violently.
