Quilombola identity and quilombola school eduction: contributions from the experience of a quilombo

In this work, the process of constructing the identity of the quilombo of Mangal and Barro Vermelho, situated in the west of Bahia-Brazil, is carried out, understanding that its history and its identity-building process can contribute to the formative process of teachers in the debate about quilombola school education and the implementation of its guidelines, understanding quilombo as a dynamic category that is updated in time, highlighting the different paths for the construction of quilombola identity and the need to address this issue in the discussions about quilombola education. This work takes as reference the data of masters research anchored in the theoretical-methodological contributions of oral history and the author's experience in teacher education.Downloads
