This work presents a study on the alternative utilization of materials generically called stone-quarry fines, which added, in different quantities, to clayish soil mixes and cement, allow granulometric correction and the improvement of technologic properties of the new component. Specimens were molded, by means of several prepared combinations, later been submitted to resistance tests and uniaxial compression. At the end of the process, new tests were carried out to verify whether the results matched to the Brazilian standards for cement-soil (ASSOCIAÇÃO BRASILEIRA DE NORMAS TÉCNICAS, 1992) or not. Some specimens also passed through other trials, as for the resistance to the direct shearing, and its values compared to that found in literature.Downloads
