Abstract

This article is a result of a study which was developed having as central objective to investi-gate the results and unfolding of applied research in education in the thematic area of in-clusive education developed in the Professional Master Program in Education and Diversi-ty of The State University of Bahia. The performed methodology was mainly focused on the documental analysis of two master dissertations and its respective results. Based on these analyses, it was verified that the inclusive education is a thematic with potential for investigation in the professional master programs, it also can contribute both for the en-largement  of reflection on the practices of inclusive education as well as to serve as a transformation of realities investigaded. It became evident even the need for continuing teachers’s education and, also,  school directors were a theoretical category which emerged during the development of the research, thus it was determinant in the construction of a proposition of intervention in the place of investigation.
