The Brazilian cinematheque: productions of movies and writings retaking the primary sources in practice of research in education

In this article, it is aimed to present a movie production as source of research of education, and as a possibility of producing an historical analysis of society. For this purpose, it is made a brief presentation of the Brazilian cinematheque showed as an important place of preservation of movie productions, magazines, and journals produced in a moment in which the censorship interfered in every intervention that were not in accordance with the military dictatorship. In this manner, the magazine Filme e cultura allowed us to analyze the non-conventional elements in the pedagogical practice, conducing us to a comprehension of an atmosphere of conflicts and questions that reveal facts of that moment. This is for those that are aiming to develop a critical point of view of education, having elements which give us an understanding of the subjectivity of the relationship among citizen, past and present.Downloads
