Abstract

The early identification, in family and school, of attention/hyperactivity deficit and behavior disorders in childhood and adolescence, is fundamentally important to the developmental process of the human being as well as to the understanding and the management of their symptomatology and the aspects of their development and evolution. This paper, through a non-systematic revision of the literature, makes reference to the role of the family and of the school environments in the formation of subjects, in the psychic, the social and emotional levels, regarding the global and healthy developments of child and adolescent, besides, it exposes the characteristics associated with attention/hyperactivity deficit and behavior disorders, detaching those aspects of the family and school environment that can emphasize or minimize their clinical manifestations.
