The objective of the present work, under the Human Rights and United Nations (UN) scenario, is to present the current efforts for women's empowerment with regard to education, focusing mainly on the third MDG Millennium Development Goals), demonstrating the proposed goals and possible social reflexes of such guidelines, especially in countries with extreme cultural differences and with authoritarian features. Using a bibliographic and document-based methodology, the goal of this research is to highlight the fact that policies such as the MDG are crucial for reducing gender inequalities and promoting women's participation, but points out the need for more specific targets for countries with social markers of vulnerability, especially regarding Education, so that there is no reinforcement of existing inequality.
