Shared Services for Small Businesses: Evaluation of an Entrepreneur Initiative Provision of Services

This report brings the experience of the author in providing implementation services of administrative routines to micro and small enterprises and aimed to identify limiting and contributory factors for the establishment of a Shared Business Services for small companies. Followed the guidance method for professional research, from the report and getting in theory, contributions on topics: marketing and sales services; small business characteristics; trusts; outsourcing and fourth party services; Shared Business Services operations and; quality and level of services. It was applied qualitative research to clients and former clients on this service and other quantitative by the Micro and small Companies’ sector to identify needs. The results have shown its viability and obtained, among the conclusions that: it is necessary to change the culture of the Micro and Small Company for its acceptance; the small business owner adheres to the model if there is trust in the provider; micro and small companies have a greater difficulty in welcoming standardized routines; it is preferred that the payment is a fixed monthly amount for a service package; for confidence reasons, Micro and Small Companies have difficulty accepting that the performer is different from the seller and; small businesses can take advantage of integrated processes through partnerships between complementary service providers.
