People With Disabilities (PWD) have found barriers to their insertion in the labor market due to the technological advance, however, new Information and Communication Technologies allow the autonomy and good performance of their work. The objective of the present technical report was to analyze the perception of visually impaired workers, in the transition from assignment of function, once relocated from the role of X-ray technicians to the new computerized appointment scheduling department, in a public tertiary hospital. Training and reallocation brought benefits to hospital services and allowed the reintegration and valorization of visually impaired collaborators, thus fulfilling the institutional mission of guaranteeing the right to work by the PPD quota law, through the use of a new technological tool, which reduced 9% to 4% absenteeism of patients undergoing exams.Downloads
