This technical report demonstrates the applicability of a consultative auditing framework for evaluating programs and projects during their execution. The objective was to evaluate the best practices in project management and corporate risks, and to generate action plans for the growth of project maturity levels. A descriptive case study was performed based on consultative auditing services provided to a retail company. The framework contributed to the identification of problems and defined corrective actions that can be replicated in other organizations, thus contributing to the improvement of project and program performance. The framework could be improved by utilizing practices observed in other models.
