Sobre o Portal

The Portal of Journals UNINOVE (PPU) gathers all the journals from Nove de Julho University (UNINOVE), affiliated with the Graduate Programs (PPGs), aiming to make them more accessible to the scientific community and to enhance information exchange with other institutes. This initiative demonstrates the institutionalization of the journals. UNINOVE, through its commitment to Education and Research, invests in and supports the publication of scientific journals.

PPU is registered with the Brazilian National ISSN Center (CBISSN) under the number 2965-9590.

It covers the fields of Administration, Law, Education, Engineering, Urban Planning, and Health. Currently, there are 15 journals, each with its own frequency determined by the editors: continuous flow in a single issue, continuous flow divided into issues throughout the year, quarterly, biannual, and quadrimestral, as well as online publication of approved articles. Accepted languages include Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and Italian. Some journals are published in bilingual format. For access and more information on each journal, click here.

All journals have an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN). Articles receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) upon publication. Indexing includes, among others: Clarivate, DOAJ, Ebsco, Educ@, Lilacs, Redalyc, and Scopus.

At the Portal of Journals UNINOVE (PPU), research can be conducted across all university journals, which enhances accessibility for academic inquiries.

The journals are licensed under Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA Attribution-NonCommercial, aligning with the Open Access (OA) movement that has grown since the Budapest Declaration. All journals are members and adopt Best Practice Guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Refer to PPU's Copyright Policy for more details.

Access to content is free and immediate, following the principle that providing scientific publications freely to the public promotes democratization of information and knowledge generation. Hence, no fees are charged for any type of journal. They are entirely free and open access publications. The LOCKSS system and Cariniana Network are used for digital preservation.

The Portal of Journals UNINOVE (PPU) employs the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which facilitates assigning DOIs through Crossref association and integrates ORCID for authors. Every effort is made to maintain academic integrity; therefore, all journals use iThenticate for double-checking similarity in review processes.
