The objective this paper is to present to the synthesis of a developed research to evaluate durability of concrete produced of form more sustainable than the concrete ones produced with the conventional aggregate. To reach this objective it had been prepared concrete using recycled aggregates, in increasing texts in the substitution of natural aggregates and studied its degree of influence in the related properties the durability. In the concrete with recycled aggregates, developed in this study, the carbonation depth diminished with the increase of the content of recycled of 20% for 50%. For concrete family produced with coarse aggregate masonry, the lesser depth of carbonatation was reached with the substitution of 100% of the natural aggregate; however it is important to stand out that depending on the desired resistance, to reach it, the use of more than 550 kg of cement for m3 will be necessary of concrete. Such behavior illustrates that the carbonatation depth depends strongly on the chemical composition of the concrete and not only of its physical aspects. When the natural aggregate was substituted by 20% of recycled aggregate of concrete or of masonry, the new concrete produced presented the same performance and, for times, until better behavior of that the reference concrete, for the properties studied in this research.Downloads
