Application of characteristic innovation sector as innovation diagnostic model for epp from the sector of the automobile repairs industry

The automobile industry in Brazil has a stake in the industrial GDP of 25%, a considerable number of workers in a chain that encompasses suppliers of raw materials, auto parts, auto body shops, distributors among others. Whereas there is a fleet of cars average growth in Brazil of 5% a year, identifies the need to establish services that ensure the full operation of the fleet in the light of the criteria of availability required by its users. The proposal of this research is to define a diagnostic model that makes it possible to identify which dimensions must be considered, investments in innovation to improve the competitiveness of the workshops. The Research evaluates the application of Characteristic Industry innovation model to determine the dimensions of priority innovation conducting a survey with a sample of 150 companies where identifies the dimensions that make it possible to raise the levels of competition of enterprises in this sector.
