The aim of this study was to evaluate the Quality of Work Life (QWL) at an electric power concession in Mossoró, RN, Brazil in order to discover how its employees evaluate the company’s QWL actions. The study is both quantitative and qualitative in nature, and the applied methodology was based on descriptive, exploratory and bibliographical research. A questionnaire was used, based on Walton's (1975) model for data collection, and applied to 47 employees of the organization. Most participants were satisfied with the requirements for QWL that were implemented, while the others were dissatisfied with such actions, arguing that some points need to be improved. With these results, the company can efficiently make adjustments to deal with the weak points and consequently be seen by employees as a company that meets all requirements of QWL, improving their image to the public. It is noteworthy that this study brings academic contributions by allowing a more detailed understanding of organizational reality.
