State Government of Paraná: politics and investments on educational public system (1889-1930)

Abstract

The study on the investments of State Government of Parana on the public instruction, between 1889 and 1930, was become fulfilled by means of the survey of the prescription and the expenditure of the State and the headings of taxes that had intervened the forecasts for the education and the social and economic investments. The research appealed to bibliographical sources and originals registers making use on the historical and comparative methods, and searched to analyze the economic-financiers relations of the State with the education and the legislation to understand the organization and the educational dynamic in the beginning of century XX.
