This work proposes to analyze the narrative of women present in verses of poetry slam competitions that show a reality of pain, suffering that does not generate a silencing. However it becomes an ammunition to resist and continue. This youth has produced poetic risks of survival through their verses in the competition, among which we highlight the narratives of women who express their experiences through poetry in the competition. Faced with the participation of women in the competition, we wish to deepen the discussion about these narratives and their struggles for the right to be alive and to be heard. From the contribution of the thinkers Walter Benjamin, Gilberto Velho, Conceição Evaristo and Chimamanda Ngozi, we will present how pain and survival are present in the verses as well as in the daily life of each of these poets.
