Liderança transacional e sucesso do projeto: Evidências sobre as influências do autogerenciamento e da abordagem de gestão do projeto

A liderança transacional figura como um dos estilos abordados na relação com o sucesso do projeto. Este artigo propõe-se a analisar o impacto do líder transacional sobre o sucesso do projeto, tanto de forma direta como por meio da mediação do autogerenciamento dos membros da equipe do projeto. Para isso, foi aplicada uma survey que coletou dados de 406 respondentes acerca do modelo teórico desenvolvido envolvendo indicadores de sucesso do projeto, liderança transacional e autogerenciamento. Adicionalmente, foi levantado o tipo de abordagem aplicada ao projeto: tradicional, ágil e híbrida, para testes de moderação. As análises feitas por meio da aplicação das técnicas de modelagem de equações estruturais (MEE) trouxeram novos achados, já que observou-se o papel positivo do autogerenciamento como mediador parcial na relação liderança transacional e sucesso do projeto. Além de implicações teóricas, remete a reflexões práticas quanto à importância do estímulo desse comportamento autorregulador por parte dos membros da equipe. Os resultados também revelaram um efeito moderador do tipo de abordagem de projetos, onde as equipes com aplicação da metodologia híbrida influenciam menos o sucesso do projeto nos níveis mais altos de liderança transacional, em detrimento das equipes centradas nas abordagens tradicional ou híbrida.
